Yeah, I don’t need to grow any older. I’ll have to figure out how to quit that.

31st Birthday – They failed last year, this time they get revenge – August 26th

without comments

Hello all,

Semishort notice, I know. Friday 26th August at Cheers and Beers. They failed last year to get me inebriated and well, they’ve vowed revenge. They promise me I will not remember any rendition of Fat-Bottomed Girls that I do.

Yes, it’s the annual birthday bash for poor work-at-home Dan. Sandy is watching Siobhane, everything is cool there. It is again at the hallowed Cheers and Beers, and sorry, no, the available single ladies have not gotten any better since you’ve been there last. (My apologies for that.)

You should already know where C&B is. If not, email for directions. My little brother Kody is finally eligible to attend! Yes, folks, he is 21! Come on, Kody, get in there and sing some Bizkit.

I gotta get to bed now. See you guys. Bring anyone you want or anybody I’ve forgot about.

Two more weeks with the Riddle kidlets.

with one comment

What a difference three months makes with the kidlets. Sera has grown to be a bit more independent, and not asking to be fed all the time. Morgan is acting less like a mercenary. :D I’m proud of the kidlets. They’re growing up!

Siobhane, on the other hand, sees the Riddle domicile as a place of constant exploration and experimentation. “Ooh, what’s that!?!” all the time. She won’t be satisfied until she’s emptied all of Auntie Tanya’s lotion bottles. She’s also in the “potty training” stage and doesn’t quite understand that she shouldn’t run around nude when we’re guests at somebody else’s house. And she made her mark, so to speak. With a Sharpie. On the wall and two doors.

This may sound weird, but Chris seems less stressed. He showed me an anime called “Angel Layer” which I found quite interesting. Then he went off to his room to sleep inexplicably through thunderous noise of all-day daycare.

And I think Horizon Dental is stalking Jim. I’ve never heard of a company being romantically obsessed with an individual, but they …. KEEP … CALLING! (Welcome to LJ, Jim, I’m glad you were able to see that comment in your first week.)

Akasha likes these stickers with a rabbit who says really cruel things. I find them hilarious, especially, “You ugly people are nice, but you gotta go.” That makes my inner jerkwad chortle a bit. It’s so infantile, cruel and stupid, but God, it’s genious.
