About the DT Log
March 29, 1989 was like any other day in sub-Saharan Lakeside, California.
HOT! DAMN HOT!
Well, probably.
A 14-year old underachiever named Dan Touchette decided to become a writer, promising twenty years of pain and regret. One single notebook page, DT Log #1, entitled “AR” poked fun at a very badly acted Red Cross video on CPR.
A teenager will waste time on just about anything besides schoolwork, and Dan continues this into his mid-30s, losing sleep while compiling lists of four-star movies and analyzing music charts and going into anger management therapy after being a lifelong fan of the San Diego Chargers.
The DT Log, in its paper incarnation was the Pre-Internet timewaster, and now this abomination is being released to the denizens at large who understand English. You’ve stumbled onto this page, poor soul, and you should be pitied and subsidized for life by Dan Touchette himself, if God truly was a kind, benevolent deity.
Twenty years of bad writing is quite an accomplishment. Read if you must, but make sure to add more fiber to your diet just in case.
